This sign coming into a campground adds a little zip to the day.
Every tourist shop seems to capitalize on bears-either real one stuffed, or cloth ones stuffed. Everyone cashes in on the attraction.
One of the conversations starters everywhere seems to be, "Did you see any bears?" We say no, then the next response (from tourists anyway) is, "I just want to see one from the car."
The trick is to see one from the car and not from a bike or on foot. Just for a little confidence we have this bear spray! But only to be used in case of an attack.
