Someone here in Valdez has been bringing small fish to the open area behind our campground. He throws out a fish and the eagles follow an approach and landing pattern, swooping down and grabbing the fish at speed. The adults are more successful than the young birds. We wouldn't recommend this but it surely is fun to watch.
