Arrived at Tok, Alaska today after two days in the Yukon

The trip from Haines, Alaska, up through a short section of British Columbia into the Yukon included a beautiful drive over the pass out of Haines. We hiked above the pass -look for our vehicle and a pair of Trumpeter Swans in the photos.  The two days included sunshine, a rainstorm, more rain, 150 miles of bad roads, fishing success and today a nice visit with the Buckwalters in Tok (owners of the Cleft in the Rock B&B). They served in Africa for many years - we had lots to talk about over supper this evening.
