We really like the BC and the Yukon Territory! After a nice drive along the Liard River and a stop at beautiful Muncho Lake (too bad it was too early to camp there), we stayed at Watson Lake - home of the hard-to-describe Sign Forest. One could spend days there looking at signs - found two from Wooster and one from Apple Creek, one from Rimouski, Quebec (long story) and one from rural Bolivia.
Yesterday it was driving through mtns to a side trip down to Skagway, our first stop in Alaska. The 60 miles was just one stop after another for photos, (top photo), ending with a long steep drop into Skagway. Found a place to camp about 100 yards from 3 huge cruise ships and a view of snow-covered peaks (above photo taken from inside the Tioga). The weather is warm and sunny. Our phones are on again from now through at least Saturday.
