More from Denali

We saw more than animals on the Denali trip.  Here are a few of the miscellaneous photos. 

The Mountain

We drove through White Spruce at the lower altitudes. 

Their cones seem to all be concentrated at their tops.


Our route around Polychrome Mountain was spectacular.

The shelf road did things to my breathing, especially with a bus driver who liked to be dramatic-in driving and in his comments.

We stopped at Eielson and hiked up.  (See Bruce's last post.) Here is one view from the top.

It was a great day.  Came home tired though from the climbing, the bus ride, and the fresh air and wind.
