For 84 years there has been a race up the 3,000 foot peak that stands high above Seward, Alaska. Somewhere around 800 people make the climb, in three divisions. We were able to watch their progress on the mountain from our camping spot in the Luthern church parking lot, and watch the climbers race to the finish line along the street close to the church.
